A nite at the movies

Ok so why is everything in the theaters coming out in 3-D... I got one Passion of Christ in 3-D! And why is it when a group of people walk in together late they have to stand in front and talk aloud about how there are not anymore seats left...ummm sir and ma-am we can see that now go sit in the neck breaking seats... I want to see the movie!

Getting things together for a concert on Sept. 11th in Baltimore with Project:Praise... Can not wait! Nothing like ministering among family! More info to come... Still looking for 3 more BGV's....mmmm! Pray for me saints have to preach on Sunday!

A good Ole Friday

Man...God is so good...no awesome! Had minor set backs or so I thought... Made it through three songs in the studio today! Now just have to get the vocals together...back in the studio next week...til then Carolina's Kitchen tonight then BBQ's and more BBQ's! OMGosh they just had to walk pass me with that plate of cornbread! ....mmm!

Productive Day

Today was a long and somewhat rest lest one, well that was until we started practice. Going to the studio tomorrow to lay down scratch tracks for the musicians...very excited! I think we are making ground, I live for this!

It's Friday

So today is a wonderful day at work... yet I spend more time in the bathroom than at the desk... trying to drink more water... Looking forward to the week and spending it with the ones I love... Rough week and guess what I did not get sick on the train today...YAY!

Excited!

So after a long day at work and a even longer day awake...( Had to take cousin to the airport this morning) I am ready to go home and relax...not going to think about the project tonight going to eat take a bath and go to sleep! I am so excited...ok so I am going to try not to think about project to much!

Running late!

I am running late to the studio its crazy right now and I have this motion sickness really bad... I wish I could walk to work

Good morning world

This morning I listen Sherri Jones Moffett as I traveled to work to help calm my motion sickness... Might have to start driving to work! Yet ready for the studio tonight to finish the single "what if He's real"...pray fam! Have a productive day!

Nu job

Ok... So on a personal end ummm today is the first day at the nu job...have to say I am enjoying it. The highlight was the lady who just walked by me in the crush red velvet and netted shaw... Awww! Other than that everyone is pretty cool... Much different then working in the hotel industry!

My Back

Ok so a impromptu trip to the ice skating ring for Man's 14th birthday who is 6'2... Wow! I only fell once! But my back is killing me. Had some kids thinking I was going to the winter games! Ahhhh...young minds!

Slight change

Ok... So not chillin with the frat today... Maybe I can go to skylounge today and chill with my sisters Kyla Simone and She Flows Rashawn... Movie night fam? Have to spend sometime in my Word and vacals today recording the lead on Wednesday...nasal drip go away come again another day!

MLK DAY

Plans for the day are: go see a friend for a few, chill with the frat, then with the fam... then home sweet home to relax and get ready for my nu job! Have to be able to fund the project one way or another... the price Indie artist pay but right now I would not have it any other way!  Depending on no one but He who is able! Music is coming fam, just a few weeks and you will be the first to hear a snippet of the first single....hope ur excited!

My big brother

It always makes me smile to hear or see my big brother minister (Terrell Hunt)... He is a beast and I have learned so much from him! If you do not know who he is please youtube, myspace/imeem him, buy his First Album: Awesome; and/or Christmas Album trust it will bless your life!

What can I say still recovering from the game last night yet wrote a nu song yesterday in like 10 mins! What can you say when God speaks He speaks! Its entitled "take me away"... I think it is going to be hot, have some fine tuning to do but all is good! Pray for a broham not feeling so hot today!

Today is going to be a good day!

Ok... I just woke up for the third time this morning and I have this feeling today is going to be an awesome day. Had a great convo with my dude Jazz this morning at like 730 this morning about the direction of the project! (he really called me cause like most this morning he received a text from me at 7am...lol!) My lil sister has joined the following this morning "hey Britt!", she is a sick poet! Well I was told I need to blog more so this is my first attempt to get better! So to all the nu family welcome and hope you enjoy the ride!

Day of Celebration

Today was a good day! It was not spent in the studio or even sitting writing, it was spent with family and friends! Tonight we surprised my frat brother with a party for his graduation (proud of you lil bro, J. Jones) and trust he was surprised as he has been planing his own party for tomorrow! As I was enjoying the evening I was able to catch up with TU fam I have not seen and talk to in a min. Made some ministry connections that cis'd me (shhh, do not tell anybody, but talks about doing a benefit concert for Haiti)...looking forward to seeing what happens next. Have a photo shoot in the morning so off to sleep. Good night and thanks for the support and love! I know you will like what's in the works! GN!

Successful recording

Last night we had a successful recording at my line brother's house. The studio was HOT and I felt at peace in the booth (minus the fact that I was being watched via webcam..hmm about that). We got through majority of the hook and chorus for "What If He's Real". It's sounding really good - I can't wait to hear the final recording once everything is completely recorded, mixed and mastered. Speaking of which, I'm still trying to grasp the concept of how mixing is different from mastering..

But anyways, things are looking up. I'm excited!! Can't cha tell??

First post!!

Its been rough thus far. But we're making progress!

I guess its different because I'm so used to being apart or other peoples projects. But now I'm doing my own. I guess you could say I'm just feeling the weight. Yet, God is good and we're firmly standing on his promise that all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
